May Day A Cry For Help or Just Another Day - poetry

Welcome to the May 2019 edition of "the monthly poetry group" posting with the theme of May Day! May Day the holiday
it could be a call for help
but could it be both?

summer is approaching fast
we'll wish  winter back

May Day summer's here
hot muggy sticky balmy
it's better than snow

    Love your Haikus, third is my favorite, I won't be wishing winter back, hot and muggy is better than snow!

    Haiku is the one form I simply have not been able to master. Or even attempt! Love all of these!

    So far here, May has been either perfect or a bit chilly. Nervous to see what our summer actually brings!
