Welcome to a Secret Subject Swap. This week 9 brave bloggers picked a secret subject for someone else and were assigned a secret subject to interpret in their own style. Today we are all simultaneously divulging our topics and submitting our posts.
Do you have a bucket list? You know, a list of things you want to do before you're too old to do them or places you want to go? I do. I think at least in my head I always have.
There are things that as I have gotten older I've scratched off because they aren't practical and I just know it's not feasible. So they are off.Like singing professionally. That ship sailed long ago. I still dream of singing but I have come to the understanding that it will only happen in the comfort of my own home, my car and church.
I always wanted to go to Europe when I was younger and I did. I actually lived there for 3 years and would LOVE to go back. That is on my list. Go back, take my hubby and see the things I missed, revisit some of my favorites and find new favorites with him.
Visit Australia, Ireland, Scotland. I might not return!
Rescue animals. That is high on my list. I have done this, many times, all of our pets/furbabies have been rescues but it is a dream to own a farm and have dozens if not hundreds of furbabies and help them find their furever homes.
Drive across country. I have gone as far as Texas. But to take a month, in an RV, with my hubby and drive from one coast to the other, stopping along the way to see mapped out sites...that is a huge dream and hopefully one day it will happen.
Have a book published. My husband has and I would love to. Maybe. Who knows.
After almost 6 years of blogging, I have gained many wonderful friends and I have added meeting them in person to the list.
Becoming a famous landscape/wildlife photographer. still possible
What's on your list? Is it long? Are you doing anything to make the list happen?

Your “Secret Subject” is:
Have you made a bucket list? If so, have you added to it or removed anything? Are the things on your list attainable or merely wishes?

It sounds to me like your bucket list is certainly within reach. Go for it - one by one. It took me 10 years to write my book and that act alone has opened up a whole new life. And as a fellow rescuer (we have rescued over 30 dogs) it is the greatest joy, isn't it? I am sure you will agree that these precious furbabies KNOW you rescued them from pain and possible death.
ReplyDeleteSounds to me as though you've accomplished some of them and that's more than many people can say. I hope you keep on making these dreams come true!
ReplyDeleteI have a couple of the same Alaska, Ireland, Scotland add in London. I also would love to go on an Alaskan Cruise, but I've driven across country a couple of times and you should really do it you will not regret it and it really as expensive as people think if you plan way in advance!
ReplyDeleteGlad I was part of your bucket list! It all sounds so much fun!
