Today’s post is a writing challenge. This is how it works: participating bloggers picked 4 – 6 words or short phrases for someone else to craft into a post. All words must be used at least once and all the posts will be unique as each writer has received their own set of words. That’s the challenge, here’s a fun twist; no one who’s participating knows who got their words and in what direction the writer will take them. Until now.
At the end of this post you’ll find links to the other blogs featuring this challenge. Check them all out, see what words they got and how they used them.
The coach who wasn't paying much attention to anything except the orange he was peeling, bit down. Eww too pithy and that's when he heard the gasp and screams.
Pauly was gone. His shoes and bat were on the plate but he was gone.
Everyone looked around, called his name and some began to cry.
Pauly looked around, whoa, what, wait, what the...where was he? OMGosh, he was IN the plane! He looked out the window but all he could see were clouds. Was he dreaming? Maybe. Maybe not and if not, where was he headed? What would he do when he got there and who would take care of him.
Poor little guy began to cry and the drops of tears on his pillow woke him up.
He sat up, looked around and said "whew! there's NO WAY I'm going to the game today." He rolled over and went back to sleep.

Whoa, talk about scary dreams! Good thing there are some we can wake up from - other nightmares have become our reality...
